Alexia Lomelí, AMFT
Alexia Lomelí (she/her/ella) is practicing under the supervision of licensed psychologist Dr. Anna Nedelisky.
Alexia supports kids, teens, and parents/adults in navigating anxiety, depression, chronic stress, life transitions, and trauma. She specializes in working with neurodivergent youth, and with children from multicultural or first-generation families. She believes that therapy is a space to build resilience and self-advocacy. Alexia is dedicated to helping her younger clients break through cycles of self-doubt and performance pressure so that they can feel more grounded and capable in their daily lives.
She tailors her approach to each client’s developmental needs, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, Positive Psychology, and EMDR. Her therapy room is neuro-affirming and LGBTQIA+ inclusive.
Alexia strives to create a warm and collaborative space where young people of all backgrounds feel truly seen. She believes therapy is a partnership with the whole family - she helps her clients and their parents find practical tools to manage the social, emotional and academic demands they face today.
As a bilingual therapist, Alexia is passionate about providing culturally responsive care to the Latine community. She helps families navigate the dynamics of intergenerational healing and the process of finding their voice and trusting their own strengths.
When she isn’t in the therapy room, you can usually find Alexia skateboarding, hiking, or exploring local cuisine. She cherishes being outdoors and loves spending her free time with her partner and her dog, Remi.
